Yoga

Try yoga on a paddle board in the beautiful Scarborough Marsh!  You will paddle with your instructor into the Marsh from one of several nearby starting points. Another way to have fun on your vacation - or anytime.

Outdoor enthusiast, Alaska wilderness guide, experienced yoga instructor and all around nice person Jacqueline Boudreau of Earth Fire Yoga & Wellness brings yoga to Fun And Sun!

ABOUT YOGA ON A STAND UP PADDLE BOARD

Jackie says: “SUP Yoga is an incredible doorway to access both your Yoga practice and the outdoor world. SUP Yoga is a great reminder that you don't have to take your practice so seriously all the time - studio Yoga can be very focused on perfecting postures that fun can become secondary. In doing Yoga on a surface that is fluid, dynamic and constantly moving, the core muscles are fired up along with new sets of muscles that aren't always engaged in such a deep way on solid ground. Feel the sunshine and salt on our skin as you move and breathe harmonizing with the elements and your surroundings. Paddle back to shore recharged, rejuvenated and recalibrated with a new sense of invigoration, awareness and restoration in both mind and body.”

WHEN CAN I DO IT?

There are classes every week at different times from May through October in Pine Point, Maine. Classes and locations are somewhat tide and weather dependent.

She teaches an array of yoga and fitness class that focus on uplifting, empowering, energizing movement, mindful attention, and using breath as fuel to navigate challenging opportunities for growth on and off the mat.  She truly believes movement is not a chore but a true gift to realize and utilize your own life force. Her strong belief is that the more we focus on the health and wellness of body, mind, spirit on an individual level, the more of a ripple effect will reverberate into the rest of the world; the more awake we will be to fully show up in life and take better care of each other and the amazing, beautiful planet we get to call home."
